Well, I like everything here. I think, though, the mimic should be a couple of cards in the treasure deck,
since they tend to mimic treasure chests and other such items.

Cynthia - love that idea. Of course, bringing psionics into the mix adds a whole new bucket of worms...not
sure if anyone wants to open that one. (psionics brought about an entire new setting for D&D...dark sun).

Does anybody have an icon for this for HeroScribe by any chance? If not then I could just add to the quest notes.

Thanks!

There should be no icon, the mimic is initially a piece of furnature, so use that.

No Icon from me...

However, it's funny that this discussion is taking place right now since one of the recently announced stretch goals for Darklight: Memento Mori is their take on the Mimic (they call it a possessed chest)... Heh.

And I really like that card Gold Bearer.

maj!
maj! = Klingon word for "Good". Used in the context of "I approve".

Wouldn't be hard to make a bed mimic that eats mind points. There are already spells in play that sap mind points. As we are already in the realm of house rules with this monster it should be no major thing to include.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

There is an icon that looks like a mimic but it's called a Mime. It's under the All-In-One Pack Monsters category.

I think that treasure card was coming from GYG 225 edition... I use his statline. There it is an encounter card.

Why not make one for the throne? Hero Quest already has one, which makes it more likely to get under the Heroes' radar. NOT THE COMFY CHAIR!
