Drow Ideas

Postby mo123813 » February 7th, 2011, 1:03 am

Ello people!

Here it goes: The drow

The drow has left its home land (some dark forest) to join the forces of mentor and defy it's queen. It will be simliar to the elf, but will focus more on controlling spells, like animate furniture and control monsters for a short time. At some point, they may try to become a DRIDER! (Half drow Half spider)

I was inspired by Phoenix's elemental wizard quests that they must go through to become the mancer they choose. The drow will have to go through a quest and at the end, the will be put on trial by the queen Drider. if they succeed the become a drider. if not, they die. i was thinking this would be determined by a die roll.

Once a drider, they will have new abilities they may perform. I was thinking since that they are now driders but still are resisting the queen, using the new abilities will hurt your mind points. at 0 you leave or attack your allies or somethin.
I was thinking of some kind of poison bite-web thing in which the drider bites the monster, gets it weak, wraps it up, and then feeds on it, healing the drider and giving it more mind ppoints? I dunno....im just trowing stuff out here. Some of these ablities include climbing on walls, web shooting (which stuns enemies) poison bites, ect.

let me know whatcha think.

Seems a bit harsh, let them die in battle, perhaps a Gladiatorial (hows that for a long word) conquest :?: :?: :2cents: :mrgreen:

Well that's the point: It's the ultimate price. If I took that out then everyone will want to be a drider. The drow is only for the brave

Yes for the rest of the game. We play like that too.
And they turn after the finish the quest they will be put on trial of the drider queen. thats when you make the roll to see if the drow lives or not. if they win the roll, they keep their lives and are now a drider.
