I thought it was good, but I did add some itmes on and change it for gameplay- here it is, I decided to change some of your stuff, but I was just going to use it.

I like it, but I think it shouldn't have a helmet. Also, just call it "leather armor" and "Wooden Shield" and "Goblin blade". I think having halfling at the beginning of every item for it throws of the fantasy feel of it. Just my thoughts

Looks like a fun, cool concept. Perhaps I should paint up my GW plastic halfling...

I wouldn't restrict his move downward- keep it no muss. The food idea is plenty to provide his niche.

Why should he get food from a tomb or wrack? (Yuchh!) You may think it too limiting, but I think it more thematic if he finds food in cupboards, shelves, or on tables. Perhaps he could find a double helping to compensate.

If you want to limit his range, why not change shortbow to sling, thrown rocks, or even cutlery?

i am reading the return the king and painting orcs and all i wanted was a holbytla to have my newly painted uruk-kai abscond with . i think it's a cool idea . i mod the system most notably through a shoppe that i write and update , among the which are food stuffs . it would be cool to have sam trying to cook for everyone while they huddle around the fireplace trying to remember brighter days .
