I have already posted some home made heroes, but I have decided not to use them anymore. It throws off the balance of the whole thing, and I feel that the four original heroes need to stay that way. BUT, I made a new hero, the Halfling, and I love it. I know, there are a lot of halflings in the forums, all with different abilities. Just check mine out, and let me know what you think, anything you would change or add, and so on.
Halfling
"Having keft your home in a cozy halfling-hole, you joined a group of heroes to get your share of adventures. You are not the strongest warrior, but you wield a pure heart, as long as you've had a good meal that is."
Attack - 1
Defense - 2
Body - 5
Mind - 4
Movement....(Im still deciding over one or two red dice.)
Starting Weapon....Dagger
Starting Armor....None
Abilities
(I will only do this ability if I sitck with one red die)
You may be carried by an ally next to you. But, they loose one combat die in defense until they let you down.
The halfling has a special ability to locate food: Whenever he enters a new room containing furniture, he may roll a dice if there are no monsters in sight. On a roll of 5 or 6 he has found something to eat which he may use at any point during the quest to heal 1 body point. After the quest any unused food has spoiled.
The halfling may not use the following items fromt he armory: Broadsword, Longsword, battle axe, and plate mail. However, he has new options of equipment to buy:
Cooking Equipment: Once per quest, the halfling may miss a turn when standing next to the fireplace and cook a meal from a piece of food he has found. This will heal all body points he has lost, or heal all heroes next to him by 2 body points, including him.
Shortbow This ranged weapon is used exactly like the crossbow. However, it has only a range of 4 spaces and an attack strength of 2 combat dice.
Check out my new character: Halfling! I promise you will consider using it!

3/4/5 = skulls
1/2 = white shields
6 = black shields
