My take on the Warrior Priest

I decided I needed a 5th hero for players to choose from and whipped up a Warhammer style Warrior Priest.

EDIT: I'm thinking I want to add Water spells to his choices. So it should read "He may choose either Protection or Water spells before the game." Elf and Wizard would get priority on spell choice first.

I made him slightly less tough than the Elf, but still able to wear armor. I upped his combat efficiency against undead and chaos, but capped his attack at 3 dice with the new weapons he's allowed to use. He also gets the protection spells from the Wizards of Morcar. I think it's roughly balanced, with more consistent damage vs 2/3 of the monsters in the base game and some spells, but with fewer BP and limited weapon use to encourage continued Elf use.

Also here are the new weapons:

I'm really terrible at graphic design, so they aren't really at their proper printable sizes. If anyone is feeling generous and wants a challenge though, have at it. I'd really appreciate it.

Is this something like what you are looking for? I'm definitely not a graphic artist, I just use the template I got from the Inn.

I was thinking something in a ready-to-print out version. Yours definitely looks better than mine. I'm absolutely hopeless when it comes to Photoshop/GimP, so the best I could do was export the images as jpegs and edit from there.

Download Patroclus' card maker. You can edit the .xlsx file with the information that you want.

Nice. Where did you get the warrior-priest image? I want it for my paladin.

"He may wear amy armour." :?: Who's Amy? Is it Amy the amazon from our p-b-p game? Do they know each other?

I would only allow this character on the condition of only one other spell caster in game; unless the dungeon was extra tough and required an extra hero to survive the challenge. If I had a table with 5 regular players I think I would create a new character that was not a spell caster. Too many spell casters at the table and it messes the game up for me.
But in absence of the Elf or Wizard this is a good replacement hero.

@Schmidt: Link?

@Gold Bearer: I typed in Warrior Priest in Google and went through the images. It popped up. Also, it's not a proper fan-made item without at least one typo.

@cynthialee: This isn't necessarily for 5 player games, just a 5th hero. If I added a 5th player I would adjust accordingly and these days I play mostly custom adventures, so easy to adjust. What is it that you have problems with, spellcaster-wise? As far as spells go, Protection spells aren't exactly fantabulous.

I just feel too many spell casters in a game ruins the flavor for me. That is all.

But I do think he is a viable replacement for either of the other spell casters.

Fair enough. Just wanted to see if there was something about spellcasters I was missing.

I couldn't find the image you used for the Great Hammer. If you want to PM it to me, I'll see if I can come up with something you like. It might take a couple days though.
