my wizard player(s) tends to sandbag their spells and often I see 1/3 - 1/2 of their spells still in the deck

I don't care if the Elf runs dry, he can suck it and swing a sword
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Yeah I see Wizards who play very conservatively but it's sad when they hang back and don't even end up using their spells! Elves tend to use theirs up and then feel naked...

Possibilities that I have thought of so far (just a brainstorming, I haven't developed anything). Several points were not created by me, I just joined some ideas here on the forum, modified others and created some:

- Barbarian

Basically the cards from this post

- Dwarf

Search traps even with monsters in sight.

Search traps behind opened doors.

Take 2 treasures cards instead of 1 and choose the best (Dwarves are more familiar with mines, ruins and etc., in addition to the passion for gold)

- Elf

Reflex: If he steps in a trap he may throw a Combat Dice.If he don't get a skull he may jump backwards without being hit for the trap.

Diagonal walking: He may walk in diagonal with expense of 2 movements. However, if you pass between two monsters you may take an opportunity attack (I need to think how this will happen)

Soft Step: Elf may step in a trap floor without activate the trap, since he knows that there is a trap there .Limited for 1 time each quest.

- Wizard

Give an extra spell set, probably... But I don't want to make the Heroes too powerful. As you see above, the new skills slightly improve the possibilities, they are not something that completely changes the game. The reason for this is that I want, little by little, to add several small skills so that they can go on conquering this. A new set of spells seems far above average...

Well, these are my thoughts so far...

Bem bolado. :barbarian:

(Well elaborated. :barbarian:
The Bloodthirst skill may be nice to have tokens to help you remember how much data has been sacrificed. in my games it is common for a player to control more than one hero, and in the heat of the beating it is sometimes difficult to remember how much data he has already recovered.)

In a lot of video games you can get "bloodlusted" if you kill a certain number of enemies. Maybe that could be something? Kill three enemies in the same quest, and your next attack is extra strong or something?

Some Barbaro skill ideas that I use and think are really cool are:
Piercing: When you kill an enemy, if you kill yourself and leave an attack, apply the previous damage to another adjacent enemy or within range of the weapon.

Battlecry: 1x per search the Barbarian can reverse the attack turn. If enemies start the battle by attacking first, Barbaro reverses and heroes start first.

Counter Attack: If the monster attacks and no skull appears in the attack data, the Hero can make an attack against this monster, with one die less in the Hero's maximum attack, in the monster's move.

I also use critical attack evolution. Ex. Critical 1 = skull on the first die is equal to 2 skulls.
Critical 2 = skull in the two given braces is equal to 2 skulls each. and so on.

I also use Ambidextrous as you do, but without these wonderful cards of yours ... :D

An idea for the wizard's skill deck, which may already be common but bigger, is:

Arcane impersonator: When a caster uses a spell in his line of sight, roll a white die, leaving the skull the magician incorporates the spell during the search (Can only imitate a spell by searching, and can exchange for another if he has not yet used the spell stored.)

This makes a quest with more enemy spellcasters, the mage more participatory.

And ... it is logical that he cannot imitate his own magic .....
Infinite genius ...... :wizard:
