Me too - can't wait for the update.. Dullandrusty - will you put up the .psd files so we can use your format for our own Homebrew? I'd love to format my EWP cards in your style!

Rusty I am randomly going through your cards and I am blown away....the artwork is so damn epic and the custom card sets look like they are so much fun to incorporate. Insanity deck??? Lingering wounds??? EPIC ideas!

Your cards really make me rethink my plan to play the HQ missions with plain dnd rules. Maybe I will switch to regular HQ fighting rules so I can use your cards, and do the rest in a dnd roleplay fashion. Cant wait to hear more about how you play with your homebrew/dnd rules.

I gotta print these cards out!! :D

basically interested in all the rules, but yeah friar and wizard seem most confusing.

also on the monster cards some have a skull some don t.
also is there a rule which monster can be talked to? (lone monster)

i need to read through all the stuff again and find more questions

also what figure do you use to represent the monsters and players

The skulls are for elite or boss monsters that defense in white shields.

I will get some pics of the minis I use for everything this week. A lot are primed and wip for painting but I'll still post them.

I'll try to get the rules write up posted soon as well.

Lone monster cards can be used whenever only one monster is left. We play that the charisma stat effects the parley chance. Some monsters only react to intimidation (GM's discretion as to which). Those parley attempts are based on attack dice instead. at any time when alone with a monster, a hero can attempt to parley either with Charisma or intimidation, but they don't know what the requirement of successes are for each method. That is up to the gm. We play that some monsters will respond more to Charisma or smooth-talking, While others to intimidation. If successful, the player then draws a lone Monster card.

For a simpler variation with one of my other groups, we just play anytime you are with a Lone monster you may draw one of the cards without doing any Charisma check or intimidation check. This is the way I like, but for our more and rpg style we play the charisma or intimidation checks and find that enjoyable too.

I know this is really cheeky to ask but do you think there's any chance you could zip the core set cards, just the ones that come with the base game, and stick them up before Christmas? Would love to use these over the holidays!

Very cool stuff. This is definitely what a "modern" adaptation would look like, I imagine. That they all more or less match like a set makes them extra cool. Are you going to put them into foil packets to rip out of too? (j/k) |_P
While I prefer the original style with few variations, I would be willing to sit down at your table and play with this deck. Obviously it took a lot of work, so great job! Some of the image choices I really love as well (the image of those bottles I am using for example in my Alchemist item cards).

thanks, I am trying to get them all uploaded onto drop box but am running out of space even when zipped. If I can figure it out I will post the classic style cards as well that you may like more.

looks like I am going to have to use google drive as it gives 15gb of storage. I created an account just for it so will get the link to that up soon as I finish uploading it and figure out how to share from it.
