I just saw this thread, and I have to say I think those cards look fantastic. You did a great job on the artwork. It really matches the originals.

What about giving the Wizard the opportunity to "rent" one of the new magical staffs?
I was thinking about High Mages Council giving him the opportunity to use those staffs (once he becomes a champion) by paying them a "small" tribute!!
With 500 gold coins he gets access to one of these artifacts but he must return it at the end of the quest.
He can have a discount if he rents a staff for more quests in advance (700 for 2 quests, 800 for 3 quests).

Neat idea about renting equipment and I like the artwork very much. I'll have to think over these ideas, thanks for sharing!

Thank you, I have developed a lot more stuff for this but actually only in Italian language. I will post something when I'll translate.
Here are some examples:

GEM OF TELOR was once worn by Telor.
When you cast a spell (but not curative spells!) you can chose to not discard its card it but it will cost you 2 mind point
It gives you access to the Spells of revelation Level 2.
Anyone Hero wearing the Gem gets one extra Mind Point.

REVEAL TRAPS (I swear, I did this BEFORE the PIXIE spell for the new Druid was revealed, you can check the Italian forum for confirmation) allows the wizard to find traps AND secret doors at random on the board. The Wizard rolls a red die first, the result is the number of traps the EWP must reveal at random on the board (which one he prefers).
VISION allow the Wizard to stand up and check half of the map from the questbook. He has 10 seconds to look and memorize what he see. (The Evil Wizard Player will chose which half of the map to cover and which one to show)
VISUAL CONNECTION allows the Wizard to cast spells on someone he can't see but it must be visible by another Hero. The Wizard can not move while using this but the card can be reused several time and is never discarded.

The 3 Fire Spells below are described in one of the first posts instead.

I edited my previous message and added some quick translations

Fire Spells posted were the following:
Circle of Fire- surround yourself by a Circle of Fire: each mini adjacent to you, also diagonally adjacent, will roll 2 combat dice and for each skull will lose one body point.
Phoenix - You can resurrect yourself or another died hero. this needs a lot of ccentration, rolls 2 red dice and add the mind point of the hero you wish to resurrect: if the result is greater than 12 it will come back to life, otherwhise you will lose one MP. You must try several times but must discard the card when you successfully resurrect someone or if you goes down to two mind points.
Great Ball of Fire - is a charged fireball, you must declare a number beetween 2-5 first, which corresponds to the damage caused by the fireball; now roll a red die, if you get a number equal or higher than yours, you successfully cast the fireball and the monster will try to defend by rolling the same amount of combat dice; for each skull it loses one Body Point. If you roll a lower number, you fail to cast the fireball and it explodes in your hands causing one BP of damage. You must not discard this spell and may use it several times.

I know!! It was done intentionally!! When I was sharing ideas with Anderas to create new cards he sayd he likes joke words and references (so do I), then I decided to title the card Great Ball of Fire!
