Idea: matched encounter treasure cards + artifacts

I had an idea for a new type of "Wandering Monster" card for the treasure deck that rewards more threat with more reward. You have cards for specific encounters that only happen if the party meets the prerequisites, and if they do, they are attacked by a specific monster who carries a specific artifact as a reward.

For example, say you made a new artifact that is a neat magical axe made for Dwarves called Stonebiter.

You could also make a treasure card that says "Ambush: Chaos Dwarves!" (This ambush only happens if the party has at 3 artifacts among them, and one of the heroes is the Dwarf. Otherwise, you find no treasure but are not attacked, either.) Three Chaos Warriors attack the party, one of which knows the spell Rust and has 5 attack dice. If they are defeated, the heroes find Stonebiter on the stronger warrior.

This allows inserting homebrew artifacts into the game somewhat randomly, without having to devise an entire sideques to obtain the item.
