The popping image does work well for the Large Gem! card, as there is a foreground separation. For the same reason, it might help if you add a gray texture to the fallen figure in the Dungeon Hazard! card. (Just impressions, these cards look great already.)

this one has been giving me fits. this is a little better, but without the ability to "zoom out" there isn't much i can do.

i played around a little with this and managed a very simple gradient on the falling hero and the bits of rock around him.

i didn't like how dark the prototype cardbacks came out. i lighted it up a bit and balanced the color a little better.

I'm still saying you need to try that banner 1-2 cm's higher. The hazard is better, he looks further down the trap now.
