Here are my spell books that can be chosen by any spellcaster. There are other spell books that can only be used by a specific Hero.

Some pretty creative alternates to the established spells, and some nice additions.

Do your spells that are broken by rolling red dice for mind points affect Undead?

Love the backs of those cards. Did you do those illustrations?

For consistency, i'd love to see them all featuring the hand with the class emerging from it, A blurry wavy clock, floral, light would be quite easy to do and darkness, like a faded void.

I've only read a few but... Fast Forward needs more explanation, better wording, it's too open to different interpretation.

The way I read it, say the wizard goes last, he casts it and skips to the barbarian's turn because he goes first. That's basically like casting tempest on every monster on the board, far too powerful for a standard spell. Also it greatly depends on turn order, maybe I've got it wrong though. Like you said, needs clarification.

Where are you getting these awesome pictures from? :)

What if he's first... Skip can imply skipping a turn til later but ahead implies to forward from further back in the order. Does it mean the hero doesn't get a turn (obviously not but some might interpret it that way).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I didn't create the actual illustrations. I found pictures online and altered them to create the images that I wanted. I might go back and try to make them universal with the hands. I agree that they would look better that way.

Fast Forward works basically the way that Gold Bearer is interpreting. Essentially it is a way for the heroes to skip Zargon's turn. Most of my players tend to put their spellcasters last in line so it usually works that way. It hasn't been that overpowered as we have played quite a few quests with it. Also it is one of the more expensive spells costing 3 Mind Points.

So it's skips Zargons turn too!?! I don't think any of us presumed it did that. I will add, I wasn't asking how it worked as I'd of played it that it simply alters the play order for the caster. What I was suggesting is it needs rewording due to been open to interpretation.

Initiative is great mod so no issue of it being over powered.

I did, that's how I described. It's the equivalent of casting tempest on every active monster, it gives all heroes a second turn (apart from the caster who just gets an extra move) so I think it is overpowered.

I'd just give an extra turn to the last hero who took their turn. That way it give one hero an extra turn and the caster an extra movement. Still powerful and it doesn't need the heroes to take the turns in any specific order.
