The Mage's Mace has an intriguing ability. I hope the Elf isn't included as a magic user for purposes of using this weapon. I like it as a dangerous weapon that will tempt the Wizard into harm's way.

The Hell Dagger looks familiar. It's good to see work shared from this site.

The Elf, as a magic wielder, is eligible to use the mace, but I have yet to see my players give it to him. It has been given to a weaker support type character as a way to defend themselves when they encounter a stronger enemy. I agree that it could be a very valuable weapon for a stronger magic user, such as the Elf.

Honestly, the only one of these artifacts that have been close to overpowered and have given me (EWP) a serious problem, is the Dragonscale Armor. A strong character wearing that, paired with a helmet+shield, becomes a real tank to deal with. Often I have to get to them with spells or traps. They get really excited when they find it. I have made it so when an artifact is found, they randomly draw one from the whole deck. So basically, it's a 1 in 26 chance to find it.
