I think the risk to lose 1 Mind Points is the best option to go with.

I have a question regarding many of these artifacts, since they have no restrictions applied, does this mean the Wizard can use them? The armor and the swords and the like? Thanks!

Normally, the answer is yes. However, the artifacts from A Growl of Thunder weren't copied exactly in Sjeng's cards. Both the gloves and belt should restrict use by the Wizard (the hammer is similarly restricted by the gloves.)

I had no idea about the various published quests. white dwarf, novel etc. This site has been an amazing resource for revisiting my twin brother's and my favorite game. thanks so much
