I love this idea!

In theory you could make the entire board once and then copy and close off unneeded sections for each map.

It is not as easy as you think, but it is possible. You should know at least something about computer programing languages and be sure to succeed with this task. There are many versions of Minecraft, and it talks about servers; only on [url deleted] can you find millions of cool servers that you can buy at a reasonable market price. If you are interested, take a look at this website. I am sure you will find something for yourself here. Also, you can get a discount as being a new customer.

BigDaddio wrote:That's pretty cool. I like the tight corridors and the differing levels (not just a flat board). When my kids were in their Minecraft phase (they play mostly SIms and Roblox now) I kept trying to tell them to build things lilke dungeons. They just rolled their eyes at me, lol.

When the stepsons were younger and into Minecraft, I joined them. I loved building things while they loved mining for diamonds and exploring. I built a big pirate ship for my house. They liked setting it on fire, and running away...

Anyways... love the HeroQuest Minecraft dungeon!

I started doing something similar awhile back, but your dungeon definitely looks better. I built the Emperor's castle and Mentor's tower for between quests. I made locator maps to find the entrances to the quests. For secret doors and traps, a little redstone works well.

Building the Emperor's castle and Mentor's tower must have been a lot of fun and added a cool dimension to your game. Using locator maps to find quest entrances is a clever touch that adds to the immersion.
