I really hope Jon Snow is dead. He was the worst, all he ever seemed to do was get on my nerves. The bonus is that if the white walkers bring him back I get to see him get the snick a second time around!
Daenerys also irritates me.
Stannis, Brienne of Tarth, the Hound, Bromm and a handful of others I quite like. But its GOT they are all supposed to die, that is half the fun!

The most irritating, nerve-flaying, evil-bitch-queen-of-death character was Catelyn. I squealed like a pig when she was killed.

I don't think there's gonna be an Iron Throne.
There's more meaning to what's been happening.
Always remember, the book cycle's title is A Song of Ice and Fire. Game of Thrones, the show's title, takes away much of the scope in the title alone.
It's misleading in that Daenerys/The Dragons/FIRE and the White Walkers or the Stark bloodline/ICE are seemingly merely fighting for what that throne stands.
I can't and won't try to put my finger on it, but there's something bigger in the making than just the answer to "Who's gonna be king?"

Also, I could be monumentally wrong.

I'd previously guessed that Dany and Jon Snow would be married on the throne. I might have to change that though, depending on what happens to Jon. It seems that a Stark possibly married to another main character would be most obvious, but the plots never quite follow obvious. Maybe Bran instead. If GRRM kills off all the Starks or Dany before she leaves a huge mark on Westeros then I'd be annoyed.

I figured that, too. The Ballad of Snow and Dany could replace A Song of Ice and Fireas a title easily.
But, well, as you said, that's way too freakin' obvious.

It will most likely depend on who controls the dragons when they finally arrive in westeros.

At the moment I can only see Danny reuniting westeros and reforming House Targaryen with her 2 brothers. But then I have read far too many internet theories!

I've had this little theory because of the prophecy Dany gets in the first book. And I have a theory who these brothers might be.
