No, it's quite true as well.
The syrians had supply for half a year of war, especially the rebels.. If no-one had supplied them, the war had ended half a year after the would-be revolution. Sadly, all neighbours. All. Neighbours. Are supplying weapons to continue fighting.

In germany we have a well reknown historical example. We had 30 years of war. With a supply of men, money and weapons for one year. In germany, it had been the swedish, the french, the britains and the holy pope who were financing 30 years of continued war. In the end, germany had lost half it's population.

We have this example. We don't learn. We meddle. We help continuing war.
Any badass corrupt dictatorship is better than this kind of civil war. Don't try to replace them if you know they have supporters who would deliver weapons to them.

Even now. Stop meddling, wait 6 month, war is over. People can start returning.

no way. Too many states are supporting the one or the other side.

"Thoughts and Prayers" on this here site? WTF?
I don't think liking or tweeting anything does the victims or victims' families anything good.
You wanna know why? Because they are NOT freakin' VISITING THIS SITE TODAY.

On the topic of meddling in others' affairs:
"We" don't meddle. "We" MAKE those affairs. To sell weapons. To re-arrange economies. To make money. Get used to the freakin' problem and stop typing about it.
This is not a conspiracy theory anymore, this is the freakin' way the world works and has been working for centuries.
People make money and build power and make money.

There are 10,000 conspiracy theories out there.
Do you really think not a one of these is right? ALL of them are wrong? Get to using three brain cells and think something that hasn't been planted into your heads!

knightkrawler, I am sorry but I don’t think our politicians (and our people maybe) are so smart to take part of any conspiracy theory. They just do things without thinking the results of their acts, just to keep the sheeps happy that we do the right.

I'm a great believer that all of our governments are affected by the Peter Principal.

but I think this is a dangerous topic for us all.

@ Sjeng - In all fairness, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the leader of IS, basically just wants to be caliph in his own version of the Third Reich. Making this about religion is just his mean to an end.
This was never about religion, but a man with severe megalomaniac...

But blind faith definitely allows him to manipulate his followers!

It's not the politicians that I'm talking about. All politicians are just pawns on the highest level of pawnery.
This is an issue of money and power through economics. Political systems work towards that.
This is a touchy-feely topic, and to be honest, I have nothing against the whole thread just being wiped from the face of the internet.
It makes my intestines boil and twist and this is supposed to be my feelgood-happy-hobby place.

I'm sure whoever wants to put out thoughts and prayers will do exactly that.
Announcing it on the internet is useless, purposeless, and the smallfolk's way of feeling better for doing and thinking nothing whatsoever at all about what happened and why it happened.

- knightkrawler out on this topic, hopefully -

Just found this on FB, and I liked it, so I'll quote:

Last time, I wasn't "Charlie" and I also didn't fly the rainbow colours last summer. This time I am not Parisian, and I am not going to change my picture to the French flag.

I am also not going to pray for Paris. I am not going to wait for a deity to fix the mess humans created. The most horrible things are done out of a loving ideology, in the name of a deity whose scriptures oppose violence.

You want to change the world? Then get up. Do something. Read. Get informed. Learn. Talk to your children so they can learn through you. Talk to everyone. Keep an open mind. Understand more than one perspective. Know what to do. Fear often comes from what we don't understand. Look for the parts of news TV doesn't show you. When the time comes, be the one to open that door and make that kind gesture. Move past things that offend you and don't push your opinion down people's throats. Don't pray for peace, be peace. Don't beg for love, give love. Don't ask for unbiased media, get the info yourself.

A quick note on the aims of Daesh: To divide Muslims from everyone else, and provoke conflict between the two groups.

Thus, I encourage all to reach out with love an friendship to each other, regardless of the countries we may be from or whatever religiosn we may each follow, or not.

This not only deprives these terrorists of victory, it makes the world a better place.

Shocking fact is that some terrorist came from Brussels in a neighbourhood not far from where I live (less than 10km)...

I see what you mean, but it's hardly shocking. Anti-social pricks live everywhere, in roughly the same proportion to the general population.
