Warning about Windows 10 update

He upgraded to Windows 10 at launch!

Yea, my wife has a degree in computer somethin-or-other and her comment is that an OS is never stable at the start, so avoid them for a year or two until all the compatibility issues get resolved. I remember reading on video game message boards about how bad windows7 was and how you have to do extra work to get certain things to run or install properly, but now all you hear about is windows 8, and now here comes 10?

Yeah XP was so stabile. Loved it.
But I am glad I was able to revert to Win7. There was an option for that fortunately. Phew.
Win7 is also pretty good so far. Never liked the new smartphone look of 8 and 10.

Agreed. The "tiles" in Win8 sucks big time. Both in look and function.
What are their purpose again? I place most used programs in the taskbar or desktop.

And you know how you usually close a program by pressing the red X in top right corner?
Lets place a windows menu bar right there so you accidentally open it when you try to close a program.

I still have Windows ME on some of my arcades, I think one has Windows 2000. Windows ME was pretty good in my opinion, I hate anything passed XP Home Edition.

All our computers have windows 7, some were upgraded from XP! Still I never upgrade at the start it's always best to let all the issues get resolved first, wait for the 1st service pack before considering it.
As long as 10 isnt as bad as vista then everything should be fine!
