Nice to see you again in the Inn, TMU, after such a long absence.
Really sad you can't come, being one of the first "subscribers".
Congrats for getting engaged with your dream girl.

Don't expect a moving to take the time it was supposed to. I life in this house for nearly two years now and there are still many packed boxes.

All in all,
the meeting turns out to become a german dominated event, not as international and diversal, and certainly not as big, as I hoped.
Of course, Goblin King and Sjeng, you are all the more welcome,
and Baylor Ogrebane, Gold Bearer and Jackyboy, please stand up for the anglophone world and attend (or, at least, give a word).

Not what I had in mind, but we will make the best out of it and certainly have some fun.
Have a look ;)

I'm still coming, ruining everyone's fun, forcing you to speak English |_P

As I have roughly a 30 hour drive all in all, and a couple other places I want to visit, I'll most likely only stay in Siebeldingen for two nights.
Arrive on probably Friday afternoon, have some fun, play some HQ in the evening.
Day two: sightseeing etc, play some HQ in the evening.
Day three: Eat some breakfast and then probably just be on the road again rather early.

Also my dad wanted to come along, though he won't be playing HQ. But that means I'll be sleeping in a tent somewhere.

Still some planning left though...

As for the main event: HQ... How exactly are we gonna do it?
New heroes?
Fully equipped heroes?
One Evil Wizard player?
Taking turns to be EWP?
Quest books?
Homebrew?
Each make a quest on the spot? :P
With so few players, I assume we don't need to bring anything?

The other YOI-ers in America would have been so jealous!

Sorry, but I have to ask again. Which weekend are you talking about?
Perhaps I can at least come and see you.
Have a look ;)

So it is...

So I simply bring a character sheet for a fully equipped hero and you will EWP a campaign for the four players?

In principle, yes. It would be nice if you could PN me the charakter sheet beforehands, though, so I can better plan it all.
I will give you more information asap.
Have a look ;)

So, as promised, more details:
If the three Brits and Sjeng all come, I will perhaps stick with the "parallel quests" concept, but the chances decrease with ever day. With four or five guests, I will simply EWP a series of quests for you.
Everybody should bring his favored character, and if possible give me the stats and equipment beforehand.
Please bring your painted minis, colored dice, 3D boards, "rassels" etc. along to make it as exciting an experience as possible.

We can accomodate four guests in the house, so if not more of you are coming, I will not prepare the barn, which is additional work for me. Of course, if you explicitely want to camp there, I will do it for you (this is adressed to all of you - Goblin King will bing a tent).
As for your dad and the tent, should I look up a nice camping ground for you, or does he do so himself? "Wild" camping in the forest is not allowed in Germany.

And it's really a pity you doesn't come at Thursday. HQing after a 15 hour drive is probably not as energetic or lasts as long as it could be, leaving a single evenig of "real" playing.
Can't you stay longer? There are many touristic sides in short driving distance, including Heidelberg, probably the most "touristic" place in Germany, which is around an hour away (many other places are even nearer).
Have a look ;)

Sure, I'll take a recommendation. Though my parents are pretty experienced in camping in Germany. Do it twice a year.

Oh no no! We'll only have been driving ~5 hours when we arrive at Siebeldingen. Plenty of time to recuperate and be ready for the best game of HeroQuest ever! Don't worry about that.
But I'll let you know the exact plan later. My dad is coming home tomorrow and then we'll plan out the details.

Sorry I won't be able to make it. I hope it goes well and you all have a great time, and that it becomes a regular thing so I can come to one of them.
