No, sorry, I can't remember what video that was. I wonder if it was "Skeleton Man"? That was an Axis of Awesome song...

Edit: Oh wait, maybe it was the song called "The Glorious Epic of Three Men Who Are Awesome"? Yeah, that was it. The music video's definitely gone, though.

I am rather fond of this idea:

Basic Healing Potion in a village. 2 Body Points
Military Grade Healing Potion. 4 Body Points
Power Heal for Nobility. All Body and Mind Points restored

The basic heal is what the village granny makes for the local healer.
Military grade healing potions are available only to those people who are involved with the military. {Heroes count, they work for the Empire}
Power Heals are a controlled substance available to only those of high social status. {Heroes don't count here. But they might find potions like this in the lairs of Zargons powerful minions as treasure.}
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I have a selction of potions with different costs.
I have potions to restore 2BP/4BP/D6BP/6BP/ALL BP/1BP & 1MP/All BP & All MP/4MP.
The more powerfull the potion, the greater the cost, but the (slightly) lower the cost-per-point-restored.

Incidentally, the 4BP and D6BP have the same cost-per BP restored based on expectational D6 results...

You priced the +4 BP potion at 500 gold coins, correct? In that case, the equivalent cost for a +d6 BP potion would be (3.5 / 4) * 500 = 437.5, round to 438, gold coins. Funny thing is, in your 2010 edition of the rules, I remember the +4 and the +d6 potions costing the same, so I guess that changed somewhere along the line for you.

Although Healing Potions are the best Potions to buy and should be priced accordingly, I think 500 is a touch excessive. I have them set at 300, which may or may not be too low. 400 is probably a more realistic price (and then the +d6ers can cost exactly 350).

The "final" edition (the one I'm slowly putting together) had 4BP at 400GC and D6 at 350GC.

Calming Brew* (D6MP): 300GC
Essence of Warmth (1BP or 2BP imediately after cold damage): 200GC
Potion of Healing (4BP): 400 GC
Potion of Regeneration (D6BP): 350GC
Rejuvenation Salve (2BP): 250GC
Restoration Draught (1BP & 1MP): 200GC
Revitalisation Potion (6BP): 550GC
Tonic of Renewal* (All BP & MP): 800GC

*also has other optional effects available
