But really, it's hilarious. And a little spooky.

 Yeah no. Not one of the ones I subscribe to. MrWatchingpaintdry, awesomepaintjob, MiniwargamerJ, and ThePaintingClinic are my favorites. MiniwargamerJ has a fantastic Mini Painting 101 series that REALLY helped but unfortunately he never finished it! Got up to part 7 and he hasn't picked it up since then.

Looks much much better, always liked the darker skin look for Orcs.
best thing to do is not try and rush, just take your time and find your flow, and it'll get easier and quicker with each mini.
If ever you mess one up, don't worry, they can be stripped back with either Dettol (UK) or Simple Green (US), safely.

Sometimes it takes days if not over a week for me to finish a couple of minis, I have 3 one my desk now that have been tinkered with for about a week and a half, a bit here and bit there.

Alexi Z is good one to look out for on Utube, shes a Golden Demon winner, and a bit easy on the eyes too, but most of all a superb painter.

you're definitely getting better at this. Improving with every mini :)
Good shading on the clothes and skin. Skin could use a little bit more highlighting perhaps. The base is a lot better!
I like what you did with the flail, different colours for the ball and chain. The orange kinda looks a bit like rust, but could be blood... Look up some examples of rust effects and blood spatters. That you can still improve on ;)

I agree, each mini reveals substantial improvement.
Especially the tunic on the fourth - to me - looks barely improvable.
It looks appropriately dirty (think Orkish) with a good color choice.

I spent a ton of time on this one and am not really happy with how it turned out. I wound up painting all of the skin and hated how poorly the dark tones, mid tones, and highlights blended. You could see where each layer was even after a couple of washes. Repainted the whole thing from scratch and tried again. Still not really happy. Tried painting the base instead of flock for a change. As always suggestions and thoughts are appreciated. I tried following the "stop sign" method before but I still feel like it didn't blend right. I'm thinking I might need to take MORE time sort of mixing each step and doing more layers?
