If there are tiles it's HeroQuest related!!!
Place some miniatures on it when you've finished.

You know that's not a bad idea,

I do eventually want to make a gaming table for all my RPG's. However that will come when certain things in my life finally come to an end, and I start the new quest of my life.

Beautiful with those different colors! How will go make it flat in the end?

I'm going to sand the whole thing down to bring out all the colors of the wood and get all the boards smooth. Then I'm installing a boarder around the edge that will sit about 1/8" to 1/4" higher then the wood planks so I can fill the top of the table with epoxy resin. I'll post a picture once the top is done. I ordered the epoxy today and the epoxy dye.

The table top so far will have around five different types of wood on it, poplar, cherry (I think), pine, oak, red oak.

The part with the resin, is it difficult? I was thinking about a similar thing once, but I have no clue if it is complicated or not.

Yes and no. It depends on what your what your doing with it but the concept is simple. Mix the two part resin, pour, hit it with a torch to remove air bubbles, let dry.

I was touching up The Arden Daredevils again with Anderas's help. Fixed some typos and other, larger mistakes I overlooked somehow.

I'm working on some SDE cards inspired by others here at the Inn. The aim is to

Use icons to represent who can have what
Colour code weapons to avoid saying "may not be used by the wizard"
Use icons to equip the Hero correctly using the edges of the Hero card as slots

Barbarian Front.png

This is saying:

TOP - Barbarian can have ONE helm on his head
RIGHT - Can wear ONE piece of clothing
BOTTOM - Can carry objects with a total weight of 3 in his pack
LEFT - Can hold objects with a total weight of 2 in his arms

So small items like potions are carried in the pack, but don't add to weight
The Wizard's got different weapons, so the colour coding is different

Wizard Front.png

Therefore the wizard can't have swords, shields etc. But there are separate wizard weapons (staffs, cloaks etc)

Here is what an Elf looks like who is:

-Armed with a bot
-Carries a shortbow they found on their back
-Wears leather armour
-Wears an iron Helm
-Carries a potion of Battle

Hero example.png

This requires equipment to have a bar along the bottom to be displayed when stored, but that's no biggie I don't think. Examples of these cards:

Broadsword.png

Round Shield.png

This is a very cool way to work these things! I'm not a big boardgame guy, so it's not saying much, but I've never seen anything like this before. It's genius and awesome!

Somewhat similar to my 2 Page Easy Quest system, but looks nice instead. I like the integration of a weight system too.
