Maybe you'll discover gems you've never seen before!
I'll kick off with a few wellknown fantasy flicks and maybe some unknown:
-Lord of the Rings (we've all seen this one I guess)
-Lord of the Rings (animated) Yup. There's an animated movie as well....released in the late 70's, made by legendary animation wizard Ralph Bakshi......but only covers half of the entire story.
-Labyrinth (1986 movie with Jim Henson puppets (and David Bowie). Look out for goblins and other creatures)

-Krull (1983 movie set in a fantasyworld inhabited by knights, thieves, wizards, and even a cyclops)

-The Dark Crystal (another Jim Henson movie with nothing but puppets. If only there were miniatures of Skeksis and Mystics....)

-Legend (even though it stars a young Tom Cruise, this 1985 Ridley Scott fantasy flick is kinda cool. The best fantasy forest ever and great looking orc/goblin like badguys.

-Dungeons & Dragons
+
-Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God
(Both movies aren't as good as the game/books....in my opinion it's because for the first they took a wrong approach and as for the second, the budget was way way low. Still, the can be kinda fun to watch (and stars a wizard, a dwarf, an elf.....and even an orc walks on screen! (plus a female barbarian in the 2nd movie)

-El Corazon Del Guerrero (a spanish! movie that's really, really great. It won 1st prize at the AFFF (a fantasy film festival) in 2000 or 2001 (can't remember) and is about a guy (like us) who plays fantasy games and is a barbarian in a parallel world. Just awesome)

-Willow (George 'Star Wars' Lucas wrote the story and produced this movie starring Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis. definitely a must-see)
