What Websites do you frequent? Letting others know might be a good way to expand everyone's interests, and introduce them to something new and fun.


Other than the regular HeroQuest Forums, Phoenix's Forum and Old Scratch's which I frequent several times a day, I also check out the following Websites:

Daily:
Kombo.com for video gaming news (update: site was sold to another major game website. I don't follow it anymore)

Fuzziqer Software (mainly the forums) for updates on Fuzz' Phantasy Star Online Private Server and other general conversation. (Update: the project has been abandoned. I no longer follow it)

Sinfest Webcomic for some cartoon entertainment.

Weekly:
8-bit Theatre for some good old Final Fantasy satire. Updated Tuesdays, Thursdays and Somethetimes Saturdays. (Update: I stopped following this as it reached its conclusion)

Homestar Runner.com for some fun Flash Cartoons (Update: They stopped updating in 2010)

Bi-Weekly:
Foamy the Squirrel at IllWillPress for some Flash Cartoon humour. I love that crude and angry little squirrel. (Update: got boring after the first few years. Stopped following)

Don't have much net surfin time. Here, Old Scratch's, and Phoenix's forum are about the only places i frequent these days. Jump on myspace once in a while to contact people or check out upcoming concerts or new bands' sites i hear about. I sometimes visit Reaper and Heresy to check out new minis or hit their forums for painting tips or to see how bad of painter I am by looking at the stuff other people have painted. I also feel like i visit weather.com way too often, but you have to when your work depends on it.

Just thoughts I'd throw these out. I've been looking some stuff up, and didn't know if anyone else had run across
these particular websites before.

First is http://moondesignpublications.com/
Don't get dupped by this page - this is the HQ produced
by issaries, and has nothing to do with the "real" HQ
that we all love. It is some horrible knock-off.

Second is http://www.dragonkingdoms.co.uk/ToDK/heroquest.htm
This seems to be a whole bunch of quests someone put together. I haven't looked
at any, except one. It didn't look real interesting, but thought maybe the later packs
might hold something good. We'll see, I suppose. If anyone finds anything good here,
please reply here and let us know...I will do the same.

Third is http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... hread=6098
This is simply a discussion about the HQ game as a game/combat system. It looked kind of
neat. Nothing new, that I can tell. Just thought it would be good to add to the community...
for prosperity purposes and all.


If I find anything else, I'll post here.

yeah...that dragonkingdoms website - don't even mess with it. The quest packs are all zipped
into files, but each page of the "book" is a file in and of itself...making it very difficult to follow
what is happening.

Aside from that...the quests just suck. My personal opinion, of course.
