Since most of our gaming nights involve drinking copious amounts of ale and snacks as we play most of the things said or shouted can't be repeated in polite society, let say that the air turns blue if anyone drops below 2 hit points at anytime, and I'm constantly saying get that drink off the board, and wipe those fingers before moving that piece.

No cheetos , " My game board is not an ashtray" also please the armoury is not a coster. I am a huge fan of the "whose turn is it?" and "So what should I Do?" bruenor sounds like we suffer the same game pain!! :smack:

Forgot this one:

a friend of mine's copy of the game had a gargoyle with broken wings.

Need I say more?

Whenever the gargoyle was placed on the board......

"Skeleton was bashed into bonemeal" gets used a lot over here.

Well nothing to common yet in Heroquest, but in our D&D sessions what I have been DMing for over 10 years I often have to say "Roll up another character... Bit#%", well I sing it.. but there have been times that everyone in the whole session sang it after some of the more memorable deaths.

Had a few very funny moments during yesterday's game.

About halfway through we discovered, after the dwarf fell into a pit trap and getting a feeling of deja-vu, that we already played this quest last time lol.

My friend M and his girlfriend S played with us, and S played the wizard. She had single-handedly slain three orcs already with just her wizard's staff. So my friend M says: yeah, she's good with a staff. I reply: yours, you mean? *wink wink*
And he says: it's two-handed as well :D *BA-DUM-TSSSSS*

lolololololol.

In one of our previous games, every search for treasure would be a treasure card pull, which was wandering monsters all back to back. Searching for treasure became known as "searching for monsters."
War is not the answer...unless the question is, 'What is not the answer?'
