My wife finally started painting on my SDE minis.

Here is the WIP of that:

Not bad at all :) Is she the one that paints all your minis?

Most of them.

To keep a retro-RPG aesthetic, we are intentionally using a limited palette of colors. My wife is a master of free-hand painting; particularly minute details. The hair highlights and faces should be pretty excellent when they're done.

Lookin' good.
In the "Von Drakk Manor" expansion there is also a Simon Belmont-like hero.
I'm gonna paint that as close as possible to his colors on the NES. That yellow-brownish and Brownish-red. :P

I've got that.

Here are my planned paint-schemes:

The Dwarf is the Dragon Quest III Warrior, the Paladin is Maxim from Lufia 1 & 2, the Elf w/bow is Umi from Magic Knight Rayearth, the Mage is based off of a character from an RPG I made and the Barb is not really based on anything. I also plan to pain Starfire to look like the Dragon Lord. I also own a 4" PVC model of Malroth.

Heartsworn Fighter reminds me of the dwarf from Golden Axe. Just paint his armor green!

I died too. As I died with my Space Crusade. And my HQ... Too many projects... :(

At least I'm never bored...
