where in the world is Durrag Dol?

Does anyone know where Durrag Dol would be in terms of the Warhammer world map? I know it used to be one of the great Dwarf fortresses, before it was taken by the Skaven. I'm just not sure which one.

I'm creating a rough map showing all the locations of the events in the official quest and my own quest packs, and I'm getting stuck on Durrag Dol.

I just did a google searh without any useful result. So I can just quote the intro of the quest:
Dmrond and his brave clan perished in that great battle and were laid to rest in Durrag-Dol, Clan Durrag’s home and hearth deep beneath the roots of the World’s Edge Mountains

Thanks Dante.
Of the great Dwarf-holds in the worlds edge mountains I can find 8. I've already mapped Karak Varn (Kellars Keep) and Karak-eight-peaks for those quest packs, so it would be nice if Durrag Dol turned out to be one of the other six.

If I could find out exactly who Dimrond was, and which fortress he was lord of, we'll have our answer. I can't find much online about him, but I do recall hearing his name as an important character in Warhammer lore. Annoyingly, I've lost my Dwarf army book (Warhammer fantasy), and I think that was where I saw his name mentioned.

I just had a thought, if we make the presumption that HQ and Warhammer fantasy is on a similar timeline, then Durrag dol would have to be one of the Dwarf fortresses that has fallen to the enemy.
That would mean it would be Karak Azgul, Karak Drazh, Karak Ungor (red eye mountain), Karak-8-peaks or Mount Grunbad. I'll leave out Karak Varn because we already know it's controlled by green skins (not skaven) and if it was there the authors of the Durrag dol Quest would have just said Karak Varn as it was already named in the Kellars Keep pack.

Would you mind sharing this map once you've got it completed (or even before then if you're willing)? I'd love to see it and see what you've come up with!

If the Skaven come from someplace in particular, then I would choose the closest stronghold.

Whitebeard my understanding is that the Skaven are kind of everywhere across the world, living in all manner of underground places like rats in our world. They seem to be particularly numerous in the black mountains west of black fire pass, but that's moving further away from the Worlds Edge Mountains.

Spooky, I'll happily post what I have done so far, once I've found a few more locations (and figured out how to post images!). It will be a rough drawing though, not all arty like soon other maps I've seen at the Inn. I might one day convert it to a computer generated map if people like it and think it'll be useful.

Ok, I've come to the conclusion that Durrag dol, if it fits at all into the Warhammer world, should be Karak Azgal. Or rather, one part of Karak Azgal. This is the southernmost of the great Dwarf fortress-kingdoms of old.

I did some research on all of the fortresses in the World edge mountains that fell to enemy forces. I then discounted the ones that were taken by greenskins exclusively and were still held by greenskin armies. This leaves only 2 locations; Karak Azgal and Karak 8 peaks. Both of these were taken, and still controlled by, goblin orc AND Skaven armies.

Either of these would be good choices.

However, I'm going to discount K-8-peaks on the premise that this is (I think) already the setting for an official Advanced Heroquest adventure, which has itself been converted into a really cool HQ quest pack here at the Inn.

That looks great!

If you have the ability to scan it, I'd love to see a better or larger copy of it. i'd definitely like to make use of something like this in my game.
