Ash of the Amalgamate Kingdom is here!

Good morning -- or, I guess evening here -- brave adventurers. I am Ash ^_^
It's lovely to meet you all. I've been touting the wonders of Ye Olde Inn for a while but haven't made an account or spoke on the forums before today.
I live in the Midwest of the US and obtained a copy of HeroQuest when I was around eleven or twelve years old.
The details are fuzzy - I actually can't remember at all how I got it, but I know it was used, so perhaps one of my parents obtained it at a thrift store.
It's always been my favorite board game, and was perfect to facilitate homebrewing adventures to play with my little brother, which I did very often using all of our other toys anyway (implementing dice, HP, level up systems, bosses, all that good stuff).
I still have my copy and it gets played. As an adult with a kid of my own now, I've been kind of recently re-emerged into the world of HeroQuest, after deciding it was time to go after some expansions, and I backed the Hasbro re-release so I could obtain the modern copy as well.
I've now become totally enamored with all things vintage Games Workshop, and kind of went a little overboard collecting games...I now have DungeonQuest, Talisman, Advanced HeroQuest, BattleMasters, and many more games from Dark World and Dragon Strike to Legend of Zagor.
Now I do semi-regular content on my YouTube channel, in which I present or play these games. I hope anyone who finds such video'd content entertaining will give it a look.
I most recently played a scenario in which the Wizards of Morcar were playable, and experimented as I played through a remix of The Trial.

Anyways, off for now -- the night job grind encroaches.
Cheers and best regards!
Ash
