I was so glad to have found this website. I can't wait to start playing this game with my son when my mythic tier pledge arrives. I lost this game in a divorce before my son's birth. Now that's he's old enough to enjoy it I'm so happy to be able to share it with him. I have such fond memories of this game. Anyway, thanks for letting me join your site and for keeping the legend alive! Heroquest!

I'm glad you got a second shot at playing Hero Quest--a child makes a great Hero player. Though it isn't necessary, you may wish to browse some topics about Game System rules and Quest issues if you wish to be prepared for the possible rough spots. The Trial is kind of a harsh start for a kid, for example.

Welcome! I've got a 4 and 1 year old and cannot wait until they're old enough, I can feel the excitement too. @Daedlus: Absoltuley, I prefer starting with Rescue of Sir Ragnar, and having a Trial after about 4 adventures.

When I get my hero quest I would be happy to show what I got... I planned to do it on Tiktok but if the community allows it I would be happy to do it here.

I was excited to find this site... especially since it has all of the old quests. Once we get through the original content I have more heroquest goodness.

Yeah search for a topic called Heroquest with kids or something like that. I shy away from a lot of social media because of the weirdness these days, but yeah, I'll PM you.

Creating your own content--the best way to play. If you and your new group are still going strong but you want some inspiration or a break from Quest creation, don't forget to check out the Quests button at the Homepage and Board index ‹ HeroQuest Rooms ‹ HeroQuest Additions ‹ Quests and Quest Packs.
