I post to my own project thread in "HeroQuest Additions -> other expansion topics". If it really is just miniature painting, then you could use your own thread in that forum (HeroQuest Additions -> Miniatures).
We will find your stuff wherever you put it. I don't even look at the forum headers... the best way to read the latest news here is to select the "view active topics" link from the main page.
