As I understand it, your registration gets you in a game, but only with a starting Hero. Any dollar donations you raise convert directly to gold coins that you may spend on equipment. So far, you have enough for two Daggers. :2cents:

I don't know for certain if they will allow pictures and video, but I expect it would be okay as it promotes their charity event. Try contacting them at their website to be sure. I just wrote there of our planned involvement. I also suggested the Inn's FB group. I think it would be awesome if we could send rival groups. Or we could combine forces if there are four or fewer Inn/Inn-FB Heroes.

Then I might be better off playing as the Wizard, lol, he doesn't wear very much armor or carry weapons.

Well Steve Baker showed up to this a few years back and pictures were posted of that, so I don't think it would be too much of a problem.
But yeah, I'll look into it and see if there's anybody from Facebook interested in going.

Ha! Yes, playing the Wizard would be best at this point. Hopefully others will pledge more gold in this thread to buy more Hero options, or at least a Staff! :P

Donation pledges can be anything a member wishes, but I think it would be HQ-appropriate if amounts were made in $15, $35, $50, or $100 amounts to match the NA Treasure Cards. And the EQP has Treasure Hoard! Maybe an icon should be made . . .

I went to their website to register, but it doesn't appear one's able to RSVP until October... Or so that's how it was in past years.
I don't rightly know who will be Zargoning or which quests will be played. I usually prefer being a Zargon player but I don't think that's an option for this.
Anyhow, equipment or not, when it comes time to register I'm in, though I don't know if they'll be playing with the newly released version or going old school. I'll be looking forward to it and bring back a decent report on the adventures played.

Hopefully Rob can fill in some details, but no matter what comes, you have my pledge come October. I imagine PMs can handle the payment details as they become known.

I'm in for November 12th, though they spiked the admission fee to $50.
Be that as it may, anyone want to back a humble elf for some armor? It's very dangerous in these dungeons. Lol

Thank you everyone for your support, including those that has signed up to dungeon crawl for a cause, like my friend wallydubbs! The $50 registration fee gets you into the event, 50 gold coins to spend at the Armory, and gets you a full dinner too! All of the money raised beyond the first $50 goes to the South Park Inn homeless shelter and converts to more gold coins. And you can take as many pictures as you like. And dress the part!

We have been at this since 2017. My friends thought though that I was crazy to think that I could get enough people to come out to play this game with me. This year will be our biggest and best event yet! Let's help bring HeroQuest to life and do some great things! The quests are calling!

I'm happy to support the cause and also happy to hear Wallydubbs' registration nets him another 50 gold coins! That's 100 gold coins so far, but still not enough for an Elf to equip well. Anybody else ready to back our Hero?

Please support Wallydubbs! We are designing our own quests and they will be very challenging, so our friend Wallydubbs will need as much weaponry and armor as he can get.

Also, I am happy to announce that the creator of HeroQuest Stephen Baker will be joining us in the flesh at Dungeons of Hope on November 12. We still have 10 open spots, so if anyone is interested in joining Wallydubbs, let me know, or register here:

https://secure.givelively.org/event/dun ... -hope-2022

Let's make Stephen proud!
