I've been a member here for over a year and am just now getting around to signing the Guest Book. I must say I have loved this site as the #1 stop for HeroQuest fan interaction and information. I've played a virtual game with another of the Inn members. Even long before I signed up here, I remember viewing and printing info from the main pages back in 2002, about the time I got excited about dusting off the childhood game and enjoying it again. This site and community has opened up a world of creativity and fun of what has become for me one of my favorite hobbies! :wizard: :elf: :dwarf: :barbarian:

The sharing of ideas has inspired my own creativity, and enhanced my own gaming sessions greatly.

Keep up the great work. Long may this community endure, and foster the love of creativity and fun that makes a great game even better, as Phoenix would say! |_P |_P |_P

This place really is a treasure and its founders and contributors, Heroes. :roll6: :roll6: :skull: :skull: :skull: :whiteshield: :whiteshield: :whiteshield:

I have visited this site for the past couple years because ive been wanting to expand my base game. Now with the new print there is a lot of excitement out there. So I bought a 3d printer and wanna get all the expansions done and a new board done before the new game ships!

Good morning adventurers,

I have just joined the Ye Old Inn forum and thought I would take this opportunity to say hello, sign the guest book and wish everyone well in their Quests.

I am posting a weekly Quest to the Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2350317641939496) and will hopefully be able to post a quest book of a collection of these solo adventures here in the Ye Olde Inn forum when I have around a dozen in hand.

Sounds good, as many of us either don't use facebook. Please excuse what I wrote earlier, as I was ranting about the OTHER slightly less popular FB group, not the one affiliated with this forum. Bottom line is that social media is controlled by corporations that don't care about our fandom, so it can never replace communities like this (thank goodness).

I see we have slightly more members there, but not all of us here are members there (or wish to be). Good luck!

PS: No offense, but another thing I dislike about facebook is that unless you are on there constantly, you are going to miss tons of things and it's much harder to find stuff that wasn't posted recently. And every other reply from someone is an animated gif. Memes are the opposite of cool, man (the more FB tries to become twitter, the less I like it). If you see something cool over there, snag the picture and post it on here, and it will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have fresh faces. Don't worry about resurrecting old threads—I don't. :D A number of folks have come and gone and come back over the years. Still, it's a great forum if showing its age technically, and the scans of all the old materials just can't be beat for the fan and the homebrewer!

Yo! Fubar here. Fellow Canadian.

Played HeroQuest in my childhood A LOT! it was owned by my cousins and got lost sometime during our lives. Since then, I have been searching for it. Actively checking garage sales and online, scouring the fb marketplace or other used games stores, etc. I finally found it! I got myself the full original game in mint condition with BOTH expansions that are both in perfect shape. Very excited as I have a son who just turned 6, so I think he will soon be of legal questing age! :P

I will be creating my own quests (I did this on graph paper when I was a child) and I am already starting on laying out some google sheets that I turned into a map template and have been just Using letters and referencing other cells for notation and such so it will be nice when I get a bit more promoted here, and can build off what you guys have already done!

Thanks for making this site, I think us HeroQuesters are a rare breed, so I am happy to know I am not alone in the world! I truly believe HeroQuest has the highest replay value in a board game I have ever seen in my life, so I will be a big contributor going forward! CHEERS!
