What does he need it for, anyway? Does he want to set up a production company of his own?
If he really plans to team up with Thantos, he doesn't need any startup money that he has to pay back anyway. Prototypes are finished, and production faculies as well as ditribution ways are already set up. All Thantos has to do is make the moulds.
