In the US I've used Everclear. It's almost pure ethanol. That's 190 proof grain alcohol (95% abv), but I don't know if anyone makes soju that strong.

I can vouch for everclear's effectiveness as well... (Just don't drink it after you're done)... |_P
I've used plain Vodka before too, but you'll have to scrub the minis.
