Yes you are. I had a lava skeleton and a santa Claus skeleton and I am happy with them.
They must fit with Heroquest, though.

Conversions are fine, and pretty common. Take a look at the threads from previous years if you like. Last year for example

It must be a painted (at any level of skill) minature and must be HeroQuest related; it means a HQ figure, a modified one or a similar one that can fit properly beetween other HQ pieces and possibly with a HQ style base.
