Casting plastics and taking names.

I have experience in the replicating of miniatures and intend on making moulds for some of HQ plastics, including furniture tops. Do you think it would be Hasbro or GW that would try to poop on my parade if I tried to sell them?

I think if you kept it quite and didn't make allot of noise about it and only made them for 'friends', then you should have no issues.

They are all copyrighted, so there is all that complication.

However....
If you PM me and with a list of what you plan on casting and some pictures of your work, I might be inclined to reimburse you for your time and materials in exchange for some of the mini's.

What would be cool would be to have some of the mini's in pewter.

For obvious reasons.....

Ok here is the scoop on casting and mould making. All hero quest miniatures are 2 piece gravity fed moulds (easy!). I wouldn't do pewter because itd be way to expensive for everybody involved. The mould cost is 30-40 dollars per model in materials alone. Not to mention the absurd cost of food safe pewter. As for expansion models I have only a couple so until I get my grub hooks on more Ill have to stick to the original game list.

A Weapons Rack, rats with tails, and candlesticks with flames would be nice.

If I ever have money, I may be interested. I'll keep in mind that you do that sort of thing.
Might I suggest...with the holidays coming up...maybe make some out of chocolate
for your friends that play. :)
