Thanks for posting the link, wolfie!
I can still stand by my first two posts in that thread, which is probably hilarious to read.
Interesting how Herman hasn't responded to anything while continuing to post in other threads once in a while.
Hmmm...

Well, I did send him a PM got my reply.
No need to get into too many details. Bottom line is what its well known to man. "It's a free market, if you don't like the price then don't buy".
I didn't get any answers about them articles though. Then I saw what other merchandise Herman has for sale and my humble opinion is that he sells mostly custom cards and monsters. Which is really OK for someone who wants to expand their game but at the same time it seems like "trapping" a newbie into buying stuff that look official, yet they're not. They are pretty great looking though, I give 'em that.
Anyway, I saw the post mentioned by wolfie and read almost all of it, paying attention to knightkrawler's comments. Interesting read, to say the least...

Well, yeah, he's right about that, in theory.
But I don't see a car salesman putting a 2,300,000 $ prive tag on a regular Smart Fortwo anywhere.
He talks about "market", yet he forgets about supply and demand regulating prices.
It's called ethics.

Also, the disclaimer wall of text in his ebay auctions... there's a hint or two, I say.

Agreed.

EDIT: Funny coincidence. He changed the listed price from 1300 bucks to 130.

Including WoM but the person who listed it didn't put it in the title. Seems a few put an offer in trying to take advantage. Many would skip the listing not realising.

That's not true, per se. Or rather, what you imply (it is likely to go cheaper than we would expect) is not true most likely.
If only two casual HQ collectors/bidders look at the pictures, the price will rise naturally to about what is to be expected.
Ebay hasn't been a lottery for years, now. Especially in collectors' markets there are virtually no positive surprises anymore, at least not by my experience. And I do watch some *lemony goodness* constantly.
