FYI these are the average prices they are going for as of late, of course condition plays a role:
HeroQuest (Base Game) - $200+ (price has increased as of late)
Kellars Keep - $100+ (price has increased as of late)
Return of the Witch Lord - $100+ (price has increased as of late)
Against the Ogre Horde - $350+ (price might start going up as there are fewer lately to purchase)
Wizards of Morcar - $550+ (price has dropped as of late)
Mage of the Mirror (Elf Quest) - $1000+
The Frozen Horror (Barbarian Quest) - $1000+
I don't agree with the list above...
It also depends if you are talking about UK or US versions.
My idea for the prices are the following:
Game System (US)- 140/160 USD
Base Game (UK) - 80/120 GBP
Kellar's Keep / Witch Lord (US) - from 80 to 100 USD (depending by conditions and if boxed)
Kellar's Keep / Witch Lord (UK) - from 30 to 70 GBP (depending by conditions and if boxed)
Ogre Horde (UK) - 180 /250 GBP
Wizards of Morcar (UK) - approssimatively 300/400 GBP
Barbarian or Elf Quest Pack (US) - vary from 400 to 700 USD
I guess it's nonsense to pay more than this.
The problem is... if you buy at that high prices they will continue to sell for that price. If no one will buy the prices will go down.
Also with 3D printing or resin clones people are fullfilling their miniature needs often so they will have to drop down the prices because peple will not need them anymore.
Another consideration of mine is that people searching for HQ rare stuff are usually of the age of 40 or more... until they start being busy with children work or other stuff and will (sadly) no more be nostalgically interested in HeroQuest.
