I have the CW and the Skaven monks as well (see pics in the 1st post). The CW is one of the best in my humble opinion.

Yup. The ogres were on eBay not so long ago. They were +25 € if I'm correct. I'm never going to pay that for 1 mini.
The reason I want this set complete dates back many years.......in 1991, when I got my AHQ copy I saw these minis for the first time. I loved 'em.
Unfortunately, the local store didn't have them and trips to other stores in the Netherlands also weren't successful. I did have many other minis back then, but not the
'Fab 40'.
Since I'm a sucker for retro, old stuff, things with sentimental value etc. I only want to play (A)HQ with the original minis.
When it comes to HQ there are the minis from the base game and the 6 expansions. Get these and you're done. (I still need the US packs tho')
With AHQ it's different. Only skaven were included and GW wanted players to buy minis from their line. And boy, they have a LOT of minis.
I wanted a challenge: get the 'Fab 40' I liked so many years ago. If I don't get all 40: no problem! I won't enjoy the game any less. It's just for fun.
Besides: the minis I wanted the most back in 1991 are already in my collection.
