Have you thought about putting down a magnetic surface on the board, and then again using some metal or another magnetic surface for the tiles to help keep the board from shifting. I know that some places make magnetic sheets that are really thin. You could use that for the tile pieces and then maybe some thinner sheet metal for the board it self. Just a thought.

Gotta be cheaper than the store bought tiles of Beernut? (See my Saturday Night Dungeon thread...)

But to do it nicely, it'll take a large upfront cost, I'd assume.

Goto into a printing shop.
It's about 3€ maximum for a such format in laser color. (and you have a "plastified option" for the map)

If you are lost into moutains deep into a unknown valley then :

1 go there : http://perso.univ-lemans.fr/~jfm/irfanview/
2 download the 4.28 version (click on "telecharger")
3 suivant means "next" so click on it to install it quickly.
4 open your png and resize the part you want to print. It's easy to use u'll see !
