Here's a shot with all the hardware loosely fit on. I won't be attaching any of it for a while yet as it will just get in the way while I shift my focus back to the inside.

After doing the outside I am finding the original dark blue fabric doesn't go well with the case. Plus the velvet showed dust etc really bad. Picked up a couple colors of felt that mesh better with the outside. I'll be staining the wood slats on the inside one of the 2 colors all the minis are surrounding.

I love the left felt a lot and the left color too in that sample. but whatever you choose at this point I bet its gonna look epic.

After going through this website checking out a bunch of painted minis I decided to pick the lighter colors for the wood and the felt so the minis show better, as the majority of the painted minis I am seeing are predominately dark. The only mini that would have an advantage to the brown felt and darker stain would be the skeletons. That and this option helps light up the inside. Also once all the slats are put in for keeping the minis separated the entire inside would most likely be overly brown. So for contrast reasons I chose the lighter colors.

1st 5 rows glued in place for the undead and orcs/goblins. Positioning for the rest of the rows will be dependent on the size of the minis that come in from the kickstarter.
