This is looking really well Figo. I wasn't sure how those coloured rooms would turn out, but you have absolutely nailed it!
I'm loving that skeleton. A nice touch, looks like he gets a bit more trodden into the dirt every time a band of orcs run down that passage! :)

I'm going to have a go at painting the torches on the walls tonight. I'm really hoping I don't mess it up badly.

Again, any tips welcomed.

One more thing, I'll be using valejo water effect on this board. Does anyone know should I spray varnish over this? Or Varnish and then add water effect?

This board is really looking great. As to tips, and I am sure you have already done so, but there are a ton of great Object Source Lighting (OSL) tutorials for painting minis on YouTube, so if by some bizarre turn you have not already looked that could be a resource.

Oh, and be sure to "Save Game" before making any alterations...*Chuckle*...

Thanks Decipher, I wish I had the time to do more, or at least quicken the pace.

Haha, brilliant, if only I could save game!

I get lost sometimes looking on youtube. I've found some good videos on painting the flames, it's the reflexion on the wall I'm worried about. I'll just get stuck in and give it a go.

I start looking for 'how to paint flames' on youtube and 2 hours later I'm watching a video on how to install a dishwasher :D :D :D

In regards to the Water Effect:
What I would try is gloss varnish everything (gloss varnish is much harder and protective than matt varnish),
then matt varnish over everything with a vengeance (takes back the gloss),
and then use gloss varnish with a brush (also from Vallejo) only where I want gloss.

It sounds complicated, but it gives the most protection. This is a game board, after all.
Try it on a portion, give the stuff the appropriate drying times in between the steps and see how it is.
A word of warning: I do not have any experience with Water effects, but I don't see any reason not to try what I described above.

I use this method for every painted piece intended for playing.
