Elhion's HQ project

Postby elhion » January 21st, 2014, 5:23 pm

Some pictures of my HeroQuest project. My target is the restoration of my old HQ board game, using new miniatures while trying to keep the game aesthetics and old-school look. Tell me what you think!

Cool additions! With the exception of the dwarf, which I happen to find a bit weird (the pose, and the fact that his axe blade is angled wrong).
But the paintjobs are great too, good job!

I agree with tasoe.
The Dwarf is as wrong in every aspect but paintjob as all other figures are right in every aspect.
I especially like the Chaos Warriors, the Mummies, and the Barbarian. Great job on the skin of him.
Also, the red on the CW shields is great.

You need a Copplestone dwarf, but other than that this is an excellent "Plan B."

He's weird because we used to like fat dwarves.

Welcome to the Inn! Lovely minis, except, yeah, the dwarf :P
Barbarian looks familiar :P (you read ampersand's blog?) Wizard is great, and I'm missing the Elf!

Got any pictures of your board/dungeon?

First of all, thank you for the wellcome! It is a fantastic forum and I can't stop reading all these interesting threads!

As for the dwarf, it is quite weird that he is not fat. I will concider painting another model to replace him inthe future but for now, I have to focus on painting the elf and the rest of the monsters.

Sjeng, the barbarian is a copy of a fabulous idea. You must be proud, it is an amazing conversion and thank you for the idea mate.

Last but not least, I see a lot of Greeks in here. Amazing!
