I have found the dimensions of all the paper sizes:

Some of them are very large and useless, but never mind. In America do you use any other page types?

The options will be:
1 “Paper Size” (e.x. A4)
2 “Card’s Width” (free text e.x. 40mm, 1.56in)
3 “Card’s Height” (free text e.x. 40mm, 1.56in)
4 “Resolution” (e.x. 300 dpi, 600 dpi)

About paper sizes I already have the data as shown above, but about resolution what dpi do you think I should give available to choose from? 300dpi and 600 dpi are enough? I have no problem to left it free text but I can’t find any reason to do it.

In America do you use any other page types?

Unfortunately, yes. We don't have the luxury of the ISO paper sizes. (yet)

The most commonly used are as follows:

Adding the fan created cards to the project, while added scope would be pretty nice. The ones Dock has done come to mind. Also http://www.hq-cooperation.de/index.html (there are others as many know) has alot of cool looking stuff...

One step at a time. But yes, fan cards are also on the to-do list. Given Patroclus' promising project, perhaps a separate spreadsheet file (or just add new worksheets to the current one) could be used for fan cards.

Agreed this tool Patroclus is making is pretty sweet, which is what made me think of a complete database. This would also alow for pretty easy card creation by anyone, just fill in the fields and print!

Well, first we have to ask them if they want to share them, and if they do, why not… By adding new excel sheets and by sharing the new images (we will see how) this is possible. After the completion of the program I should give more details how.

About the custom images, they do not need to have a specific size, because I do auto-resizing with antialiasing. Of course, if the image is too small or the dimensions are very different the result will be not the best. The same for the back of the cards.

If I direct the program to read only the google doc, no one could download and “play” with the excel file to use it for his own, but the good is that we will push the members to share all their works with all the others. We can make it locked for the start and see how it goes.
