The Beard

What's special about this quest?
It's a test. You'll see. :)

Each Hero has 400 Gold start money to be spent on NA Equipment
Spellcasting is either in line of sight, or if the target is in the same room, don't care for the line of sight
I draw an EWP Card each time there was no Monster on the board for the entire Hero turn (or if the Heroes decided to do nothing with it).

Rules updates:

I am currently writing the quest so right now there are not more details, but soon, soon, chuckles the dwarf in his beard.

Rules clarifications:

Monsters
NA Monster Stats with extra abilities to be found here

Treasure Deck
It's not 100% original GimmeYerGold, but 90%.
Go to see the cards

Spellcasting:
The line of sight for spellcasting is modified. Either it is normal line of sight, or if you are in the same room with the target, you may ignore other models standing in the way. So to say, you magically fly the fireball around in that case. :)
Spell Scrolls can be used only by magic users who are able to cast spells at all.

Actions for the Heroes
Every Hero may move and take an Action.
Available actions are:
Search for Traps
Search for Secret Doors
Search for Treasure
Attack
Cast (only for Spellcasters)
Run (add 3 to your movement roll)

Change Equipment in the game
Beginning of your turn, before you move or action:
It's free to shuffle your equipment around as you like and to give someone adjacent something

After the Move or Action:
No more changes possible for something that needs to be equipped

It is always a free action to give someone something that needs not to be equipped (like potion, spell scroll etc)

This is just to prevent things like attacking with Battle Axe and then switching to Shield for Zargon's turn; or enter a room with Battle Axe then switch to shield for the treasure search.
If there is a unclear situation, we can talk about it in the best meaning of this last paragraph.

Evil Wizard Card Deck:
I take a card each turn when there was no monster on the Board or if there was a Monster, but the Heroes (excluding Mercenaries or other followers) were doing nothing with them.
The EWP Deck is basically Slev's Deck with two Alerts instead one, and two Interrupts instead one.

Armoury:
I use Sotiri's Armoury and add some equipment cards one-by-one

Special Equipment

Explosive
Image

Instead of a regular action, the Dwarf may deposit an explosive against a wall adjacent to him.
The explosive tile is placed so that the central one square length part of the white line covers a wall.

Image
After the Dwarf's next turn, all red squares on the tile are affected by the explosion. If the dwarf dies, it happens at the end of Zargon's turn.
Every figure on a red square loses 2 Body points.
Every door on the tile and piece of furniture occupying at least one red square is taken from the game board immediately. The treasures contained within that furniture are spread around the room and can be found by the first hero who searches for treasure in that room.
A blocked square on a red square is moved onto the next square outside of the tile. If that square is occupied, treat the blocked square as a falling block trap triggered by the explosion.
Turn the tile around so that the scorched part is visible. The two rooms count as one room now. If there was an unexplored area behind the wall, place the contents of the room as if it had just been activated.

I'm in! How the build hero system works exactly? A classic :wizard: let's say with a Staff + 12 daggers is ok? Or do i have to spend gold for his spells? This is an example, i'll not choose a wizard.

The wizard is taken by Gold Bearer's Mancer.
You could take a staff and 12 daggers, no Problem. :D

If you take one of the classical characters, just spend the money as you like in the NA armour. If you want something else then just show me and we talk. I think your own generate a hero system is already a good starting point. :)

Sotiris has a lot of pre-made heroes too.

A mancer could replace either the wizard or elf as well if you like, it's between the two.

May I try?

I wouldn't mind playing the Elf.

I've never been a Hero before, or tried this online dice rolling thing, but it may be worth a shot.

It's really easy. You just write the number of dice, then d6 and then highlight it and click dice. So rolling two dice will look like this: (dice)2d6(/dice), but with [] brackets instead of ().

sure you're welcome :) We have an entire thread here in the PBP Area to try dicing :)

Any customization on your elf or just the one out of the box?
