Hurgar:

Hurgar stampedes after the cowardly fimir and chops him good with his broadsword.

Then he meets the fellow it had been shouting at this whole time. This fimir seems to have been laying bricks in the newest wall of the expansion when the battle came through the door. Bored with its work, it eagerly turns toward the barbarian with a sneer.

Eddy:

Eddy repositions himself, deciding whether any of his spells will aid his brash friend.

It is still Eddy's turn...

Can't remember which spell I have left... Or Hurgar's body points :(
Oh well, I search my room for traps and hidden doors. EoT.

You only used Fire of Wrath. Your spell groups are Fire, Air, and Water.

You could keep a notepad file on your desktop for keeping track of used spells. I'm using one to watch everyone's stats (Hurgar hasn't been touched...yet)

You also find no secret doors or traps.

Kili: "I'm missing out on a fight again--Oooh, that gets me mad!"
Kili rushes toward the Fimir.

Movement:
Daedalus rolled 2 6-sided dice:
1, 2

Did I say "rushes"? Place him north of the Elf.

Aren't we playing NA rules here? Magic works a bit differently. Fire of Wrath requires line of sight, so the wall should have prevented casting the spell, or the Wizard should have moved into view, first. Then again, if you want to allow EU spells for an EU player, I imagine things can work out.

Sjeng- while we were playing Patroclus' PBP, we listed the spells under the Hero in the relevant posts and marked them as cast. Check it out. You copy it as you play.

Yes we are, thanks for the reminder. Spells can only be cast on targets in line of sight (except the Genie -- I'll allow both of his abilities to ignore line of sight). I'm letting the Fire of Wrath incident go because it was kinda funny watching the wizard go Snagglepuss after a failure.

"Heavens ta margatroid! The spell fizzled! Exit, stage left evennn!"

*ahem*

Kili:

Kili enters the room, working himself into another frothing fit (and clandestinely rubbing his sore foot).

Shouldn't the orcs have had more body points, then? Don't know the stats by heart...

The monsters with more than one body point in the NA version are Fimir, Mummy, Chaos Warrior, and Gargoyle.

I'll try to remember to post the stats when a monster appears. For now, a reminder:

FIMIR
MOV 6 :: ATK 3 :: DEF 3 :: BODY 2 :: MIND 3

Also, a reminder to everyone to check previous posts before taking your turn, to make sure you haven't missed anything.

I think the Elf is the only one who hasn't gone yet.

well I guess I better go and give 'Hurgar the Reckless' a hand with those Fimir.

Caranthir Movement:
The Road Warrior rolled 2 6-sided dice:
1, 4

Not enough movement to get into the room and do anything useful so I will move to the south eastern corner of this room and see if that Fimir dropped any treasure.

Cranthir:

Caranthir retrieves the Fimir's Toolkit -- apparently Hurgar's blow cut it loose as he chased it through the doorway. The strap is easily fixed by elfy hands.

Zargon's Turn:

Image

Hurgar's situation begins to looks dire as the two Fimir masons flank him and lay into him with their hammers.

Injured Fimir attacks first, itching for a piece of the guy that cut him:
mikemacdee rolled 3 6-sided dice:
3, 2, 2

Hurgar defends...
mikemacdee rolled 4 6-sided dice:
2, 2, 6, 1

The new Fimir takes a swing next...
mikemacdee rolled 3 6-sided dice:
3, 6, 1

Hurgar defends again!
mikemacdee rolled 4 6-sided dice:
5, 1, 3, 1

Hurgar feebly blocks the onslaught, receiving a total of 4 body points of damage! That's...wow. Hey, at least he's still standing, right?

End of Turn.
