Well, climbing inta da pit and jumpin' over it hav da same chance ta fumble and will do da same damage - only diff'rence is dat Hurgar would havta climb out. Hurgar would do it if there were more dan on skinnyfriend behind da pit 'e could help over, but dere's just one. So Hurgar prepars fer a jump

I've re-read the NAmerican rules about climbing out of a pit. It says that the hero can "simply climb out in the next round", but I don't see if this counts as an action... :?:
Well, be it as it will, Hurgar looks fer secret doors in da pit. If there are no, and 'e's still allowed, 'e climbs outta da pit and moves ta Eddie, bein' carefull not ta pierce 'is foot at de ears of da elf.

(I don't count climbing out of a pit as an action: you simply move as normal.)
