Cool video. I just kinda flipped through it but you called out that a player can search and disarm in a single turn. That's not okay Brah! I liked how your players are so caught up on finding a secret door in the bottom of a pit trap that's so much like a veteran group. My players are doing that too. Going actually down into pits and searching. LOL i can't even think of one time that is ever used. Thanks for sharing

Hey Mako,

Only that particularly leveled Dwarf--since deceased--could search for traps and disarm one in a single turn. The Elf in that same Quest--still alive today--is similarly able to perform an action in addition to casting a spell.

The beauty of advanced players like those in my group is that we push each other and, for the same reason, never underestimate each other. They are always finding ways that I had never considered to get through troubling spots. At one point in the video, you'll see them decide to drag a recently deceased henchman into a open grave. And I, figuring they might do just that, loaded a treasure room unlockable only by such an event.

Still, death to the Emperor. Zargon uber alles.

I'm sure I meant Ice Storm when I wrote Blizzard.

Here is the text for the Banshee character:

Singing Counts as an Action. Banshee can sing and attack on the same turn.

Starts with 6 Song Tokens. The Banshee can possess a maximum of 2 Song Tokens per Mind Point.

1 Token: "Song of Valor" functions like Area Rock Skin; lasts until next turn.

1 Token: "Song of Fortune" allows all affected Heroes to re-roll any one die for each individual roll; lasts until start of Banshee's next turn.

2 Tokens: "Song of Fear" functions like Area Fear (but w/o a chance to evade); lasts until start of Banshee's next turn.

4 Tokens: "Song of Restoration" functions like Area Water of Healing, but the 4 Body Points can be divided as per the Banshee's desire.

The range of each Song is a number of contiguous squares equal to the Banshee's current Body Points, including the Banshee.

Restore a Song Token every time the Banshee kills a Greenskin.

Totes. She and the Druid would team up nicely in a dungeon filled with Greenskins.

The Heroes in my group didn't play those two nearly enough in my opinion.

I can foresee a time where we spend a questline with just three of the Elves they never chose: the Banshee, Druid, and Apothecary.

I'd let them pick the 4th.

Maybe.

Hoping for an update on the Labyrinths soon ;-)

Currently re-writing the Frozen Horror quests for my group. Love your take on it and I'm hoping to plagiarise your stuff. Any chance we'll see these or other quest notes published in the future?
