know there are already some excellent redesigns of this campaign (Eudoxio, Hispazargon, etc.), but I wonder whether Hasbro could find a way to make it work as a new official expansion, even if it came in a smaller box similar to Kellar’s Keep.
It could include around 12 Mercenary miniatures in black or dark grey. They could even reuse existing sculpts, or simply differentiate them with alternate heads with spiked helmets or something along those lines. They might also add a miniature for Hinsgrim.
To bring it closer to the European edition content, they could expand the Treasure deck with the Small Chest (100 gold coins) and the Holy Water vial. They can also add cards for the new artifacts.
As for the campaign itself, I could see it being adapted into four standard quests. One possible approach would be to let the first quest branch into two different paths (leading to maps 2 and 3), allowing players to choose their route until they eventually track down Hinsgrim and defeat him. His location could even vary between maps 2, 3, or 4 to add some replayability.
They could also include a few new introductory quests to give the expansion a fresh feel, perhaps adventures that take place as the heroes travel toward the ancient citadel.
I think it could work as a small box but could even be a big one if they add some more new stuf. Just because is the last published material we dont have I'd love to get it.
