Answers to any questions received about the Contest will be listed here for everyone's reference.

Contest Q&A:

Q: Are entries Single Quests, or can they be 'linked' Quests like in a Quest Pack?

A: This is a Single Quest contest. Quests should not be part of a Series or Quest Pack. The title shall be altered to help clarify. Thanks!

Q: Do Milton Bradley Only rules only apply to tiles and miniatures, or do they also limit custom items more complex than keys? For example, if I wanted to put in a new Artifact (ie Bow with a strength of 2 Combat Dice because a Crossbow would be too strong), would that be allowed?

A: Pretty much only use the stuff that comes with the Game System and official expansions. You may make your own variations of Monsters in the game like MB did in their quests. For example, list an Orc as carrying a bow in the Quest Notes, or give a few Skeletons special stats.

For our first Contest, we're pretty much dipping our toes in the water to see how things go, so we decided to go with only MB stuff. If the contest is a success (ie, we get a good number of entries and a fair number of voters), then we will run other Contests in the future. Some unrestricted Quest Contests, some Card and Tile contests.

Just posting a reminder for everyone that our Single Quest Contest is less than half-way to the deadline. If you have a great idea for a quest you've been wishing to create, this is the perfect opportunity. Send it in and you could win a HeroQuest Dwarven Pass Puzzle!
