Undeads and Greenskins in the same room?

Ok, so I'm a UK player, and one of the rules thats made clear to us was when designing quests, you should make the rooms appropriate to the setting. In other words Orcs would not be seen in the same room as Zombies. Try and keep monsters of similar type together. Yet when you look at this expansion all over the place you see Orcs and Skeletons stuck together. On one quest you have 2 Mummies, 2 Zombies, 2 Skeletons and 2 goblins in a room, why on earth would the goblins be hanging around that lot for?

They are following orders.
You want to tell Zargon no? Pretty sure the last Goblin that talked some smack to the Evil One is now a goblin skin belt.

Whoah! Where does it specifically tell you to do that?!?

I'll say I agree though. It's more thematic to keep a... well... theme.

Well Zargon is all the way over the pond in the USA, I can be brave from this side of the Atlantic ;)

In the guidelines for the adventure design kit expansion. I cant think of any examples in the British quest books where you have undeads and green skins together.

Greenskins and undead can appear together during Kellar Keep Quest 5's "monster conga line," but it's up to the Evil Wizard's choosing of what monsters to move into the corridor.

Might be a bit off topic, but I do see Chaos Warriors and Undead put together sometimes...

Like the bottom right room in Quest 13 for the spirit blade:

Also stumbled across a few of instances of Gargoyles sharing rooms with the Undead in WoM and AOH...

EDIT: Below I've highlighted a couple of examples in Quest 7 and 9 of the Elf expansion pack where greenskins and undead are in the same room:, and there are even more in the Barbarian pack...

How did I know this sort of incongruity would happen in the NA expansions?

It refers to white pieces (mummy, skeleton, and zombie), and green pieces (orc, goblin, firmir). Obviously grey pieces would differ as gargoyles are stone so wouldn't care or smell the rotting undead, while the chaos sorcerer is used to represent a few different people in heroquest (sir ragnar, witch lord etc).

I'm not really sure how you'd class a chaos warrior to be honest.

Chaos Warrior= Useful minion and better do as told like the others. Unless he relishes the idea of being turned into a basic skeleton....

Naturally, Chaos Warriors are wildcards. They can be put into a room with anything and still have it make sense.

Chaos Warriors are representatives of Morcar. They are like overseers that make sure everyone is in line.
So whether it's an orc lord, witch lord or ogre lord we are dealing with, chaos warriors always fit in.
